Have you soaked the pistons with ATF? You can free up that engine with a lot of patience. You're probably need to rebuild this engine anyway so I would pull the engine. Pull the head and oil pan and loosen the rod nuts. Remove one of the rod caps and use a piece of 2X2 oak and a big hammer and drive the piston out. The sleeve may come out when doing this, but with heat from an acetylene torch you can free the piston and be able to reuse the rod. You can always take the block to your local auto machine shop and have them pressed out. Your block probably needs to be cleaned of any dirt or sludge. I think those are wet sleeves and they're not pressed into the block so they should come out with a little effort. The area where the sleeve seals are needs to be cleaned too. Rust and dirt gather in that area and may cause an overheating problem. Take a lot of pictures and notes and make sketches too. They will be a big help during the rebuild. Hal
