Some of these are TIMKEN and some are MRC. Timken owns Fafnir and some others and MRC is owned by SKF.
Now I did "upgrade" some of mine. For example on the pinion shaft I put in a 311M instead of 311. The "M" means a "Max Type" bearing (for timken that suffix is a "W") and has more balls and thus more load capacity with a small reduction in axial load capacity. I did the same for the outer axle bearings, using a 214WD. (I couldn't find a max type with one shield so I ordered one with two and removed one of the shields.)
The various suffixes will tell you if it's max type or if it has snap ring grooves or shields. You'll notice these as you take the old ones out. Go to SKF.com or Timken.com for their lists and explanations, tons of good info.
