F-20 Radiator?

What is the best solution to cleaning the inside of the radiator,it has dirt,acorns,etc a mouse house material inside?I was thinking to flush it backwards from the bottom up with just water hose pressure?Would it work to use drano or solvent?Maybe just plain hot water?Has any one ever taken the top off and bottom,and ran a rod thru each vane?Is it easy to seal up when you put the bolts back in? thank you Dean
