Patrick: I have 15 different one point fast hitch implements, some of them IH originals, some of the 3 point conversions and some of them fabricated from the ground up. It took me close to 40 years to find all these implements or the parts to build them. Today, starting from scratch it will cost on average $100. more to build a one point fast hitch implement than the same in three point hitch.
Most folks under rate the value of these until they start looking. I've bought offset tractors just to acquire a certain implement. i've owned 6 of them lifetime. I've driven thousands of miles looking for this equipment. Today I have a SA, 130 and 140, 15 fast hitch implements and others like cultivators, snow blade, belly mower, etc. Someone once asked me how much I have invested. If I count my driving, my fabrications, cash outlay excluding wear parts it tops $45,000.
If you can, buy these, don't give them away. they are far more valuable than most folks realize. Sure, every offset had 1 to 3 popular implements, but not many had 4 or more. I'm betting they are all scarce in Manitoba. In fact the only hot bed in Canada is SW ON.
