Anyone know the right way to pack these pumps. Packing comes in 1/4 inch thick split rings. It"s suppose to take three of them. Had a hard time getting them in. Used packing nut to drive in. Not sure if packing is all the way in against shoulder. Ran tractor for 1/2 hour. Seemed a little hot to the touch at packing nut area. Now it"s leaking a little antifreeze out the packing nut when I shut off tractor. Should I have greased packing before installing. Maybe dry packing has now worn impeller shaft? Thanks, Ditz
