Local salvage yard called and had dug out from the back shed a V-8 engine that has block #476155C1 and head #359999C2. Looks to be complete with American Bosch pump and all lines and injectors. Only thing I saw missing was 1 valve cover and maybe 1 valve. Don't know anything about it but has been inside all the time and looks quite clean. Was wondering if this might be a 550 motor used in some trucks and also in 68 series in early 70's? Told me I should try to see if someone needed it for parts before it goes to scrap tomorrow. They have hauled over 800 tons out so far with another 150 to go at 400 per ton you can do the math. Can't blame the guy for taking this once in a lifetime offer can YA? Migraine
