Well, that's too bad the ser# is gone, but the 300 was made for three years, 1954-56. One of the other posters here talked about the casting codes, so if you go to the trouble of that research you can narrow the manufacture date to within a couple months. The 300 is in the www.caseih.com parts catalog, so you can look up any part number on the tractor. The follow-on model is the 350, and it is about 95% identical. (main differences are engine and fast hitch updates)
