Hello I'm new to this tractor thing but I'm ready to add my comments for whatever they might be worth.I have an old Chevy that needed a set of points recently, I went to the local NAPA store ( the only parts store in town ) they charged me $48.00 for a set of points, not a tune up kit just points, I needed them so I bought them. A few days later my friend that has a small auto service business told me that the only way to go these days is to buy a kit to eliminate the points ( all electronic ) kit costs $100.00 and labor is the same as replacing the points, no more points worrys. If the kit works on cars I would guess it fits tractors or a kit should be available for tractors, worth giving it a try. Bob S.
