Ok I have a super h that I'm trying to change to 12 volt. I have still the 6 volt generator a 12 volt + or - ground regulator a 12 volt coil and a 12 volt battery.Now when I turn the key on the amp meter goes to the + side before I start it. After I start the tractor when it idles it is on the + side but when I rev the motor up the amp meter goes to the - side. Do I have to hook the battery up with pos ground or does it matter and why does the amp meter show backwards reading Thanks Kevin
