On the 100, this is most often caused by rust in the gas tank. There is an elbow in the carburetor where the fuel line goes in. Shut off the gas at the sediment bowl, unscrew the fuel line and take out the elbow. It has a screen on it that get full of crud and the gas can't flow into the carb. fast enough. Once you use the fuel in the bowl it starves for gas. If you let it set a minuite it will fill up again.
