Howdy, boys: I know, I know - this is nothing new in the grand scheme of things, but gee whiz, the fields are so wet this year nobody can get into them (late planting) and some of the corn is already hurt by the rain. Last year everything was burning up at this time.
I'm not a farmer, but some of my friends are. All I want to do, is plant a few rows of field corn and some sunflowers for a good dove shoot this Fall. However, my friend, Bubba-Hugh, is going to have to replant some of his corn - if it ever gets dry enough that he can..... North Alabama is plenty wet right now. I cannot even finish mowing the pasture. mike
