FM, Sounds like a mechanical failure with the left brake. Remove the final drive and check the band and drum. You may find no band and the rivots that used to hold the lining on the band are making grooves in the drum. If that's the case, you'll have to remove the drum from the axle and have it turned. May just as well check the right one at the same time as it may save you from a disaster later while pulling those 100 bale loads of hay.//FB
