Just bought a super A and put a brand new woods mower on it. WOW, what a difference compared to my cub with the same 6 foot mower. Tons of power. I did volunteer to mow a fiends 4 acres. It was almost like a field, neglected, grass about a foot tall. Mowed it first time down to about 5 inches, then 3 days later took it to yard length. No problems. I do mow in 3rd gear but my yard is a yard, no ground hog holes or ruts to worry about. My tractor takes normal yard mowing in 3rd gear with ease. The 4 acres above, most of it was in 2nd because of the rough terrain. That yard was about 1 week away from needing a bush hog.
