I agree, I have run mine for about 12 years with the H belly pump. no res. You must do like they say and plum the ends of the cyl toward the bucket to the fill of the pump. You may have bad seals in the cyl. I had problems and thought it was my pump rebuilt it 3 times before I took the cyl's apart and found a ripped seal. the guy at the hyd shop made 2 pucks and replaced the old fiber seals with neoprene or what ever. the pucks were needed to push on the new seals. cost me $30.00 a cyl for pucks , seals, and everything works great now.
