If it has a wide front and dropped rear axles it is an MV. If it has a single front and dropped axles it is a cotton harvester tractor, the serial tag should rule that out. The engine is the same as the M or W6, so it won't have different markings. I haven't ever seen one up close. Just drive it and listen for strange noises from the transmission and final drives. Every thing else is no different from any other 60+ year old tractor.
