There were two different styles from the factory. The early tractors used a pipe frame seat and had a rail style of mounting. The later tractors used the Monroe seat, and had the 4 bolt pan. In addition, there was probably at least 6 different aftermarket manufacturers and each of them thought they had a better seat than the factory seat. Actually the Monroe was aftermarket also, but later on it could be ordered up from the factory. The Monroe with the 4 bolt pan seat is the most popular, but that does not mean that is what you have.
