Hello, I am not sure what you are working on. but I agree with kevin. I alway replace all springs and gaskets when I take off the MCV valve. I have a gasket kit with springs for around $52. as far as the pump if you think it is bad you can take it apart and look at the gears and housing. if the pump is bad I have them for $314 Good Luck Ed
