Hey Red; It wasn't the distributor any way... This might be the reason that they sold the tractor in the first place !! I took the carburator apart for the 20th time and blow all the ports out agin. I did not get a throttle shaft bushing with the rebuild kit. that was the only thing that had not been replaced. acrrording to the service manual the 2 holes in it was to line up with the 2 on the carb. if they don't ,engine doesn't get air when reved up!!!Soooo the guy who installed it before had a hole not lined up.. part cost ($4.14) So the old story don't trust others work, check all you'r self.. I put bushing in correct way, and low and behold the beast roars.. Thanks agin for all the help everyone.
