I went to drive my H today and well I pushed the shifter into R and the tractor died but there was no grinding of the gears and I had it at half throttle.
I started it again and tried 1st.it went.I then tried reverse and nothing it died again.I put it in N and it went reverse.I tried 1st again and it died.
I noticed the pin at the bottom of the shifter was cock eyed and sticking out 1/4 to my right side.So I got a hammer and a punch and got it set back in place.
I started it back up and still all I have is R.
Could it be the pin at the bottom of the shifter is bad?
This is odd...All I wanted to do is get it closer to the garage to clean her up.
