Does anyone have an actual "bearing" for the throw out on their SC or SA? I'm doing an out of frame OH on my 53 SC and figured I'd change the throw out bearing while I was in there. It was a carbon-like skid plate instead of a bearing. The parts guy at Case said that part is still available, along with an actual bearing type, but the bearing type uses a different style carrier. The carrier I have has grease fittings on it. My question is, why the grease fittings for the carbon style "bearing". I saw the parts diagram at the dealer, it was pretty vague on what was needed. Any help on this would be appreciated.
