Lewis: Somewhere around Super A serial number 350000 an upgrade was made to final drives. I know the casting changed slightly, brakes changed. I've never checked the axle as my broken part was final drive casting. I suspect the axle change you are concerned about occured at the same time. I think you safe in assuming all 100, 130 and 140 axles are the same.
Go to CaseIH parts online, it may be discontinued hpwever it may still give you parts numbers for each tractor.
