Super WD6s were standard tread tractors, hence they only came with wide front. Also they were never equipped with 3 point hitch. They were made for heavy drawbar work. Yes they have big rear fenders, again that was the only way they were made. Not intended for mounted implements so big fenders were not in the way of anything. They are diesels, not gas tractors. The gas function is only for starting. I seriously doubt if it's all that rare. 50 or so built sounds like a "tall tale" to me although I haven't checked for sure. The engine is the same as the Super MD, so there should be parts tractors around if you find engine problems.
