like mike said , giver er a good soaking in carb cleaner. most auto parts stores sell the cleaner kit in a one gallon pail with a metal basket . take the bowl off, then drop the whole works in the cleaner over nite. i then use a spray can of carb cleaner with the little plastic tube to clean out all the passageways. WEAR SAFTEY GLASSES AT THIS POINT!! nothin 'll wake you up like a shot of carb cleaner in the eyeballl!!!if you have a blocked passage, a set of torch cleaning tips are handy to poke the clog out.
