Dang! we forgot to put the GPS on it and check the speed! Oh well too many people around unless we took it to the "back 20". That was a long drive home at 55-60 the whole way back. I got 9 MPG most of the way, unless I hit a stretch with a dead on tail wind. That Old Truck has the areodynamics of an outhouse and it really killed my mileage! The other thing is the crowds it attracted at rest stops and gas stations. Got to be a pain after a while as I couldn"t get out of there. The miss that you have may be due to the gasket having some dirt under it since it was loose, or a "burr" in the intake causeing gas to "puddle up" behind it or a bad or dirty valve. Also the "miss" is not bad at all for an old engine that hasn"t seen a rebuild in years. Good to meet your family out there. Hope they had fun! Has your wife driven it yet? be careful if she hasn"t, you just might have to get another H for her to drive!
