Farmall snowplow fleet

Link to images of part of a fleet of Farmall-based snowplows a local contractor uses for municipal sidewalk clearing. Most of them are H's and M's, though there's some 3/400's and a scattering of later models. Altogether there's 40+ of these machines. Tractors are narrowed to sidewalk width by mounting the wheels dish in as close as they can go. Then the outboard axles are burned off at the wheel hub. Plows are front suspended with frame members beneath the belly to carry plow thrust back to the drawbar. All tractors are fitted with lights, and heat housers are provided for a bit of operator comfort. An impressive collection of still-working Farmalls!
