Is changing brake bands on 1958 140 a do it your selfer job? My left side won't stop no matter how hard I stand on the brake and the rod/yokes are already tightened/shortened up to only about 2 inch travel. The right has lots of play about 4 inch travel but stops fine when I push pedal down hard. Do you have to turn drums like on a car also? Can't find details in any of the manuals I have so far.
