Probably the only problem you'll get if the plugs are too hot is the ctractor will backfire through the carburater. This happens because the tip of the plug is red hot and as the fresh charge of gas and air hits the tip it will fire too early and backfire. If you are running an engine under load for a long time with too hot of plug you will get preignition and could damage the engine.
