Henry: I could call you, and I once did call Henry VIII, Henery on a history exam. LOL I'll forgive you this time but it is MacKay. That A between the M and the c is important to me, and the K is quite important as well.
Yes, I'm in that sandy soil southwest of London. a lot of processing crops like peas, carrots etc. have already been planted. We could in this area, plow the snow off fields to plant, whether that would be feasable is another matter. Jolly Green Giant has long since gone, however there is new owners, and a new company.
I haven't planted anything just yet, as I'm dealing with sod fall plowing. My tillage brought up some green sods, not a lot but in a mixed vegetable and flower garden I want that green dead before I plant. On Fri. we had 1.5" of rain forecast, so I went over that land trying to bring those sods to surface and hopefully the rain will wash the soil out of the sods. Now that 1.5" of rain is slow coming, but our weather man assures me it will happen by Mon. evening. If the sun comes out on Tues. a few trips with rotary hoe should give me DEAD GREEN, then I will plant.
The Super A fired up much the same as it has for years. I did put in new spark plugs. I'm still working on the lights. I had a battery box same as on my 130 and 140 fabricated and I was getting that painted today. The 130 and 140 battery boxes are basically two sides, the left one never has to be removed when changing a battery or getting behind the dash. I've got to get a set of decals yet. We have a supplier just north of me, sells Farmall decals same print as when new. I'll get the mower belted up tomorrow, and it will be ready. I've got a lot of gardening to do this week, and can see mowing will start by next weekend.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Electronic Ignition - by Staff. Oil, for example has come a long way in the last 50 years and I don't use anything but the latest API grade available. I've heard the arguments for non-detergent oils but would never trade it for today's formulations. Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos
