coil and vandalism

I let a neighbor use my Super M to grade his driveway and the next day I found the negative pole on coil ripped out and the wire hanging on the hydraulic hose above the coil. The only explanation I can think of is that somebody had to reach in there and yank that wire and pole out. It was on the side closest to the block, not out where something could have snagged it easily. Maybe they pulled the inside wire and hid it over the hose so I would have to look harder for the problem when the tractor wouldn't start. I hate to think somebody vandalized my tractor but do not have another explanation. The neighbor does have some teenagers around.
