Had the same problem with my A about THIRTY years ago. Went by salvage yard ran by a friend and he said he did not have a good carb but I have this one I will give you. All that was wrong with carb was one of the mounting tabs had been broken and welded back, put it on and it has not been touched since and still runs near perfect. I have been using one of those in line filters that have such a bad name on this forum all these years so I quess I am lucky it runs at all.
