Ken had the same trouble with a F-20 carb just this weekend.Installed a new float valve and set plus gasket that goes between the top and base of the carb.The trouble was the new gasket was a little wide , this caused the float to hang up on the side of the gasket.This would not let the float shut the gas off,trimed off the extra width off the gasket problem gone.
