I have a farmall 140 with some noise in the gears mostly 3rd and and 4th gears so I removed the shifter and found the gear teeth rusted and pitted I guess from sitting and collecting moisture ,have others seen this before? and what can be done? Can you still buy the counter shaft and slider gears ? or just look to salvage parts or just live with it. Just drives me nuts to here gear whine.
