Mike, that emblem never was chromed. If you have a fairly steady hand, just get a small can of gloss black enamel paint, a small can of aluminum paint, a good, soft bristled brush, and have at it. If you make a couple of boo-boos, don't worry about it. At least it will fit, which is more than I can say for the aftermarket emblems.
