Bill, The best "riding lawn mower" I have ever seen is my Arab gelding. Starts with a very slight squeeze of my knees, top speed of close to 40, stops with a gentle tug, is unbeatable for fencing or getting the cows home. Terrific baby sitter for the grandkids and gives me the most enjoyable sunday afternoon or moonlight rides I can imagine. Hitch him to the buggy or sleigh and everybody has a great time. Takes me less time to clean up behind him than it would to run another machine every week, had him for 20 years without a single breakdown or repair. Good luck, Chuck
