I've never had a stuck tractor (yet), but had to deal with many, many outboard motors that were stuck over the years. Use automatic tranny fluid. Used fluid works fine and it is free from any local tranny shop. Sometimes you have to let it soak for upwards of two weeks. One time I had to let one soak for almost three weeks. I just about gave up, but it came loose and that old Johnson 18 ran like a champ. mike durhan
