Greg, on my super-A, the shaft under that outer rock-arm is tapered, (and keyed). If that end nut were to be loose, I think that outer arm could be worked back and forth. Thus, that arm may be on there as far as it's going to go, and there's nothing to fix.
I have a different problem with mine. Either the key or the keyway has been worn, and the arm moves back and forth a bit. I have to figure out how to fix that- I'm afraid it'll shear the key.
