Not to be contradicting Steven-----but the IH connectors on the right [1066 era] are made to couple under pressure. After inserting the male [hose] end, you pull the lever--opening both male & female "balls" at once. Maybe our connectors are different than most others, but they are what came on it from the factory. Only trouble with these connectors is that they tend to get dust/dirt in the female end which has to be cleaned out every so often. I use a 1 inch paint brush to clean dust from around the hydraulic block before disconnecting the lines--extends cleaning intervals by 4 times.
