In response to the weak differential, we farmed with a Farmall 560 a number of years ago and the problem we had was weak axle housings. One time while cultivating potatoes the problem we had was using the brakes while turning into a set of rows. Sometimes we had to brake hard because we didn"t have much of a headland......wanted to take advantage of all the tillable. So My advise is, be careful of braking it to help you turn. A mechanic once told Me that Harvester didn"t beef up the castings to take the added power. They using were using the housings from the 400 series in the early years, I know there was a recall on that problem and I'm not sure how you could tell if it has been corrected.
