RedTail,We had a 460 and a 560,both diesels and both were good tractors. But these two and every one I've ever seen had the hinge plate(?) broken and welded. This plate was bolted under the center of the tractor.I think this is where the fasthitch pulled from and I believe the draft control was linked to this as well. It's been years folks so correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.So don't be alarmed if you see this welded.KEEP THESE BOLTS TIGHT! I can tell you that our 560D was a horse.I can only imagine what the farming community thought when these were introduced in ,I think 1958,replacing the old style 400 series. They had their problems but man what a styling change.Like most any machine RedTail,if you run it right it will work a long time for you. Just my thoughts.A.J.
