any good shop can look at head and tell how mutch you can cut safely,if the head has never been cut i usally take .175 of them,remember wen you cut head you have to realine the rockers to have them work right.woul;d like to no the head number on the tractor to see if is a good one to start with.also a real good 3 angle valve job will relly make it work good.
