Guys I put an alternator on my H 6 months ago and it works great I think. I bought it from the Ford tractor dealer (1wire alternator) ran 1 wire from alternator to amp gauge then to the to the + side of battery. Heres whats happening. After starting the gauge shows charging then it drops to normal like it should all is ok there, but then after I turn off tractor if I don't disconnect the - terminal from the battery acid runs out the top like its boiling it out in an over charge situation. Any ideas?
