I think so . The 9-speed gives 4 extra speeds between 4th and 5th . They are 6 , 7-1/2 , 9 and 11 mph according to the installation manual . The 6 and 7-1/2 mph speeds make good raking speeds for me at times . I just would like a low-low speed too . 1st is sometimes just to fast for baling with a old 14t baler . 9 and 11 mph are reasonable road speeds that don't cause a white knuckle reaction if the road gets rough . These are full throttle speeds so they will change if it's throttled down some . ...Randy
