My 504 diesel has pulled a Vermeer 504C baler yearly, Massey-Furgeson 10' tandem disk, John Deere 9' offset disk (just not real deep), and occasionaly a Reynolds 4 yd earth-moving scraper (too much for the old tractor, but gave it hell trying). Also I tried a 5 point chisel plow... Yeah right, it was like an anchor. It is a good 50 hp tractor, especially if it has a functional TA. If you plan to pull or lift anything heavy (like round bales or large equipment), find some front weights! With out weights, I can it in 3rd and ride a wheelie for a short piece, very light on the nose. I removed about 700-800 lb of weights off the front of mine when I installed my loader.
