If I were you and if My Farmall tank was rusted that bad you could have it professionally cleaned out. put I've heard from a guy trying to save as much money as he could restoring a super M he simply filled the tank with pea gravel and straped the tank to the back of his four wheeler and took the roughest trail on his property and when he got back the rust just came out like a waterfall.
