I'm a Ford guy, but have been recruited to work on my brother-in-law's Int.404. I've done some work on it before, all instinctive guess work. Now the problem. The tractor originally had a tricycle front end, but was converted to WFE by previous owner. This thing has always looked funny to me in that the castor angle is negative. The spindles lean to the front. The weld that attaches the axle to the pivot pin housing has separated, but before I weld it back I need to know if the negative castor is correct. If it's not, this would be the time to get it right.
Also, I would like to know the year model of the tractor. Serial number taken from metal plate on left side is 2633J. Any help would be appreciated.
