Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here. That lump of iron you removed from the block isn't just any old piece of broken cast. When that block was first cast those were put inside the casting after it had been removed from the mold to clean out the last of the sand. What bugs me is that I'm pretty sure about this but I can't for the life of me remember where I saw one or how I know about it. Hmmmm?
Didn't get anything done to my stuff on the weekend. I spent saturday at the local IH dealers working on a pulling sled he's building and apart from clearing some snow I didn't do a whole lot yesterday. Hopefully I'll get back at it tonight. tractorsam
