Gordon: Have you ever been outside the state of South Dakota. There are reasons to use a moldboard plow. I'm not suggesting it should be used as much as it once was. You come east to some of the areas that get 36" to 60" of annual rainfall, do a few years farming, you'll do a bit of moldboard plowing.
