Hello again, first thank you all for your replies! The weather has been too cold/snowy to work on my tractor too much but today I did the float check with a glass bowl as Hendrick had suggested (what a neat idea) and everything seems to work correctly. I then put the carb in a vise and put fuel to it and it seemed to be fine, the needle seated and shut the fuel off. However when I put the carb back on the tractor, it tries to start and then fuel spurts out of the bottom where the air cleaner pipe goes. This is driving me nuts! Any ideas? Thanks, Chris
