It is not hard to do. Just remember not to push on the needle inside its seat if you are adjusting the float. Hold the hinge area of float with needle nose pliers and evenly bend each float assuming the float is out of adjustment.
Also invest in a gal. of carb cleaner in a gal. container with a dipper and soak the bowl and other parts for a few hours to overnight or longer and then be sure to blow out all holes and passages with compressed air. There are passages in the carb body you don't know about until air starts blowing through them.
