The original Lift-All cylinders were 2 1/4 and 3 diameters with an 8" stroke. Later on, a 1 3/4 cylinder came out. I think the 1 3/4 was common on cultivator rear sections as Steve described. These cylinders had the same basic configuration and were mostly interchangeable except for heavier equipment that required the larger cylinders.
The later 2-way cylinders like Allan pictured were made in 3 1/2 diameter and later in 2 1/2, both with 8" stroke.
